Before keying off I would like to add that it is Dev Anand's 85th birthday today. I have always had a crush on him. What he looks in the B/W movies....sigh!!!! I still swoon over his songs.
As my mom was telling me once that Dev Anand was so handsome that girls used send him letters written with blood. The then government had banned him from wearing Black & white suit as he used to look drop dead handsome in it and created quite a stir amongst the female population and many had even tried committing suicide for him.
Dunno how true the story is but I still stop doing any kind of work that am doing when his song comes on screen. Me n my frenz even celebrated his birthday today at CCD :D. Here is the link to two of my most favorite songs from his movies.

Ok, outta those two songs, Abhi Na Jao Chhod Ke is awesome and the other song people keep as their Caller tune to shout to the world they carry a damn.. Now let me remember who has that song as caller tune.
I love 'Phoolon Ke Rang Se'... humming even while commenting!!! All time fave of mine!! Apart from a few others.. :-D

Jai Ho Dev Anand... the handsomest guy ever...ever...ever. I think he looked his best and acted his best in Guide. And in the movie he absolutely smashes your heart into pieces when he sings - Din Dhal jaye hai, raat na jaaye.
Mein Zindagi ka saath - is such a great song.. so philosopical too.
Try songs of Patiata too... Hain sab se madhur wo geet jinhe hum dard ke sur me gaate hain.
