Ek Baar Jo maine Commitment Kar di!!!!

It has been a couple of long days. I had planned to update this space yesterday but with it being a month beginning I was buried under work. Even today I have just managed to squeeze in some time. So without much ado here is wishing you guys a very Happy & Prosperous Happy New Year J
I wanted to ask all of you that how was 2012 for you but then I know that most of us have updated our blogs summarising the past year and I am yet to comment there, really sorry for that.
For me the past year has been good. We moved to a new apartment, booked one for ourselves (will hopefully get it’s possession by March ’13), BIL’s health improved, my Brother got a new job, everything was peaceful on all fronts so majorly it has been a year with no major hiccups as such and happy times in general.
As far as blogging is concerned, though I have been regular I wish I had posted more frequently because it is not that I have nothing to say but sometimes this laziness creeps in. Yesterday I had opened my last year’s first post just to see what all I had resolved to do and here is my report card.
Commitment
Status
Remarks
To start a Cookery Blog
Started in the nick of time and yet to post another recipe ;-)
To review 48 Books
Reviewed 42
Had I bothered to revisit this commitment post I would have surely completed the target
Good Reads Challenge of reading 50 Books
Read 63 books. Yay!
South Asian Challenge
I think I am the super queen there.
Book Vixen Challenge
I outdid myself by reading 32 more books over 2011
Losing Weight
This was taken mid-year & I am proud to report that I have lost 8.3 Kgs & fit into my pre pregnancy Jeans.
So what am I committing to this year?

1.   Taking up the Good Read Challenge to read 75 books.
2.   Committing to review more books than last time.
3.   Be more regular in blogging
4.   Be more organised
5.   Save more Money
6.   Money part reminds me, I need to update my CV and start looking for a better job. I have entered into a comfort zone here and deserve to be paid better.
7.   Job reminds me I need to decide what kind of work I want to do. Whether to continue into my current profile or to follow my passion.
8.   Passion reminds me, I really need to decide whether I stand any chance in the field of writing.
9.   Passion also reminds me that I need to take up a baking class.
10. Lose at least 5 more kgs.
11. Be a little more patient.
12. Spend more quality time with the sonny boy & his father.
Phew! That is quite a list.
13.  To revisit this list to keep a tab on me ;-)
So how was Your New Year eve? We did nothing great, I made Chaat at home; Hubby, I & the brat took the scooty out & went for vellagiri, had coffee, came back home only to dance at the songs that were being played in the neighbouring society. What fun it was!
Next day I took Arnav to the nearest mall and had a freaking time. Here are couple of pictures of him. Overall the beginning has been good; there has been a couple of good news and that too from the people who had been having a patch of bad luck. I just wish that the good luck continues and this turns out to be a wonderful year for all of us.
With his fav car & having a staring game with another kid

His Fav Mater Car! Look at his expressions!

Happy with his loot!

Enjoying the ride as Santa uncle looks on!
